Sacrificing theories for reality

Wouldn't it be interesting if those studying to become a fitness professional had to self-educate themselves experimentally and interpret the data? What would we learn and what would we value passing along to help others?
I've learned so much more from my own research. Science just adds a lot of noise as does all the people wanting to sell something for fitness. It's a business first, a service second, so promise everything and make some money.

As a fitness professional, it is easier to teach something that I have learned. How many hours have I spent practicing a particular format? Not reading about it, but actually physically practicing? Those hours of experience provide rich content for my research. That research will be disseminated here and through other types of media including videos and radio shows and writing freelance fitness articles.
  • Start recording your observations, movements, discoveries, theories through your own experimentation with your body.

Reality always shows each of us the way regardless of our theories and scientific evidence to support a claim. Fitness is only to be experienced and expanded upon. To promise to deliver an ideal is truly the biggest hypocrisy and curse of this industry. I never know where my ministrations will lead. I just hope for the best. What about you?
